So im trying to install ipboard 4.4 in localhostdownloaded here in this topic, problem is it doesnt go into install page, in previous versions it goes to install page automatically.
Ive trying to open admin/install also but nothing happens. Any help with this is much appreciated, I want to try the new version of ipboard.

It may possibly be a broken download you got. It's very frequent with leaks that they don't work. Make sure you did configure the sql db correctly.

I guess ill download again and try. I already created the database.

downloaded it again, yet install page doesnt show :(

RE: Problem with installing ipboard 4.4 04-03-2019, 12:13 PM #4 I've got mine working. Is it showing an error or just a blank page? Have you viewed the error log to see if there was any conflicting files? Could be many reasons...like .htaccess or you might need to change permissions settings.

It shows just a blank page! Also I dont have a .htaccess file on my ipboard folder, should it be there? In permissions everything is ok.

I would also check that the installation index file actually has contents and try outputting content in the file directly to see if it's loading the page correctly at all. You might also wanna make sure that in the install file that the path to the init file in the root directory is correct.
