Proper viewing order for the Fate series?

I'm currently watching Fate / stay night as my first one but, I'm confused where to go from this? I'm in the second season so far, no spoilers please!

There isn't a real viewing order, none of the series link. Same characters that's it.

I would watch them in order of release date.

Fate/Zero is the prequel story that has 3 branches: Fate/Stay Night, Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works, and Fate/Stay Night: Heaven's Feel (Movie)
Fate/Apocrypha is an alternate timeline to Fate/Zero
I'm not sure about Fate/Grand Order and haven't seen it yet. I heard it has some time travel in it so it could be anywhere.

Apocrypha falls under the extra timeline.
It's actually a lot bigger because you have things like Fate/kaleid liner PrismaIllya
Fate/kaleid liner PrismaIllya Movie: Sekka no Chikai
Fate/Extra Last Encore

These are all pretty much side stories except the movie that is the fourth timeline if I remember correctly.

Yeah, there are tons of side stories and I haven't seen the one's you mentioned yet. I just finished Apocrypha last night. What did you guys think? I thought it was overall good, but maybe a little too much going on and a little confusing.

Fate/Zero then Fate/Stay Night, the other are different routes or an in different/parallel worlds hence having no real order for watching them i.e Prisma lily and Grand Order

Thanks so much for the advice, I went to Fate Zero and forgot about this post! I really love Stay Night but so far I recommend watching Zero before Stay Night. Only Midway through the first season. No spoilers please unless you tag them.
