Questions about hosting a custom Cinema server+making a cinema map

Hi me and a friend are in the process of hosting a cinema server on Garry's Mod, I am just getting back into Hammer since that's the only program used to make gmod maps as far as I know. As well as trying to find the best priced Rental Server to host the cinema gamemode on since both of our connections can barely even hold like 5 people with the addons we want to use. Does anyone have any useful advice and tips that aren't similar to outdated youtube tutorials from like 2008? lol
