heya,

ive been getting into graphic design recently
and am wodering if you guys have any recs for textures and fonts to use and manipulate.
i have illustrator so ai files would be sick too

Look around YouTube, there's plenty of assets and packs for free.

tetxurefbarik has tonnes of free textures and sites like velvetyne type foundry have some nice free fonts

The first time you have a chance at the top is the second one you get a free pass and you can go

I'd recommend going with Photoshop when working with textures since raster images have a lot more info colour spectrum-wise (0-255), which you can utilise better with different blending modes etc. In illustrator you're pretty much stuck with binary vectors (0, 1).
