Mate, I don't know if you got the view ,but in all honesty, just sipping some tea while watching outside and doing something light on the side like reading, is the real deal.

Yessss
Back when I lived in a different part of Canada and housing was more affordable I had a place with a covered balcony and I loved sitting outside with a book and a beer and just being surrounded by the rain, thunder and lightning.
When I recapture those moments in my later years I'll also add in some lo-fi hip hop for added ambiance.

See people
This guy gets it.
Extra points :
If it's early morning or late evening/night.
For smelling watered soil.
If the veranda was simplistic yet elegant.

Yes yes yes! Early morning for if the rain is falling gently and especially if you're in a high rise and are just above alovely layer of fog that coats the rest of the city but def best at night if there's hard rain and thunder and lightning. Watching pure electricity streak across a dark sky and a rumble of thunder occasionally breaks up the rhythmic sounds of the pouring rain.
Moments like that are what life if pretty much about.
Although I will also say, if you ever get a chance to go to the ocean and watch a lightning storm safely away from strong, pulling grip ofthe pounding waves it's also a pretty special moment.

I love the rain, I love hearing it, and sometimes put up rain sounds while on my computer. When it rains it makes me so happy. What I usually do is just listen while doing whatever im doing, which could be playing games, scrolling something on my phone, or trying to sleep.

Just doing your hobbies. For me it's just tinkering my 3d printer and printing stuff. Nothing wrong to play computer games if that's your leisure and or hobby time.
