Rate My Rose Design

Need feedback for this rose i made, it is from a tutorial but i highly improved it (in my opinion).
Didn't do any shading because i want it to be simple (flat-ish) design.

Should mention that i didn't go step by step on the tutorial, i just drew it right off that pic.

But first ever imo successful drawing i've done considering i've only drawn seriously for about 2 months in total.

Looks pretty good since you recently started. But, you should've added shades with a background other than black :c

Well, I wouldn't say a background color but maybe light blue skies with a rose coming from the dirt/grass would be nice.
