Ranging from 600-1000 just seeing what would be the best path to go down tbh, a lot of friends said build.

ryzen 5 3600 and a rtx 2060 is a reallllllllyyyyy good combo.

AMD is the way to go with a new PC, they easily outperform Intel at this point, just make sure you get some decent RAM and a good GPU to pair with, Ryzen loves fast RAM.

OP should also post what games he/she plans to play and what if any other programs involving video editing, 3D animation, etc. Also, would be good to know once you get the computer, if you plan to upgrade in a few years or get a brand new computer or just want this computer to last a really long time before upgrading? If you can provide more information, we can provide you a better answer!

These days though, as others have said, AMD CPU has been doing pretty well so it would be good to go with that.
