They both follow the same premise that death actually matters, and unlike SAO, they don't just shove a super overpowered main character that all the girls cling to simply because he is the main character of a horribly written harem.

Shokugeki No Soma :sip:

Might contain ecchi (a little too much) but is still a great anime nontheless, might be in my favorites.
