Rumors about some leaks, are they true?

Someone knows you have happened to the databases at the following sites:

- promofarma
- PDL
- Exactis


They seem to have suffered leaks, yet we have not seen anyone interested in recovering data and their accounts from these sites. Could it be that it is just a rumor and that the data has not been leaked at all?

If this is real, how can people affected know if your information has been leaked. And most important, if your access account is safe or not, username and password.
