"The battle between SSD and HDD is over" Pretty sure the "battle" has been over for a while now. The only problem with SSD's is the how pricey they become when you get more storage. Which is well worth it in my opinion. It's pretty obvious which one to buy.

The only reason someone should buy a HDD, Is if they want a lot of storage and don't have a big budget, Or they just don't have enough in general. When I built PC. I could either get a cheap HDD and a better GPU, Or An SSD with an average GPU. I went with the SSD.

One thing the HDD does right is that it takes its time dying. If you see signs of it failing, you can probably still save your data. An SSD, on the other hand, is usually completely gone before you can do anything about it.

I have a SSD for windows and a HDD for data, my computer is starting in 4 seconds with my ssd.
