Well, here in Romania we got Military High Schools, where I'm currently studying and where you study for 4 years just like any other high school. They give you 3 meals a day and a bed to sleep on since you have to sleep there since it's a boarding school. After we complete these 4 years you must choose a military academy where to go farther with your studies for 3 more years and then finally get to work in the army with a nice salary and a lot of free time, as an officer. I have to say it, this high school is tough, way tougher than other high schools but it will pay out in the near future and also there's a lot of fun with roommates.

Yep! I'm in Canada, you can find a bunch of the scholarships available through the government here by selecting your country of origin:

Fonds de recheche du Quebec Scholarships and Grants
The Quebec government offers scholarships and grants through its research funds FRQNT (nature et technologies), FRQs (sant) and FRQSC (socit et culture) for doctoral studies, postdoctoral fellowships and short-term research or professional development.

Scholarship Poisitions in Canada
This site shows a bunch of other institutions and private companies offering scholarships to non-Canadians. If you go to the main page, you can look at what's available in other countries too.


There's lots of universities/etc. which do this independently as well if you look around.
