water is not wet as you can not dry it.

Things that become wet can then be dried

"Water isn't wet. Wetness is a description of our experience of water; what happens to us when we come into contact with water in such a way that it impinges on our state of being. We, or our possessions, 'get wet'."

But if water isn't wet then how does something get wet?
Water gets other things wet because it is wet. If it isnt wet then what is it?

Getting wet is the sensation/act of getting water on something.

Water molecules individually are dry, but in large groups they start to sweat from their social anxiety and this makes them wet, therefore, water is wet. Oh wait I mean m o i s t.
