Serious Macbook Air or Windows?

Macbook for sure. That is how professional work done in it. Graphics programming etc.

not for gaming though.

if all u need it for is for studies then mac is a fair option

Windows all the way, with mac everything is in the wrong place and gets a little confusing. Reminds me a lot of linux

Edit: Also Mac is overpriced and you can't upgrade the machines unless you make a Hackintosh. Having said that they have great displays and are really good for music/video editing.
