Even though league is slowly dying in NA, the game is arguably in its best state ever. The amount of nonsense you have to deal with compared to before is WAYYYY less. So, yes, you should start playing.

I dont think you should, it has a high learning curve. The amount of stress involved with getting good at the game isnt worth it.
