I don't know if this is the right place for this question. But i like to know if someone knows a good VPS reseller? Or do someone knows how to setup your own reseller VPS?

I like to offer my clients managed VPS.. But im very curious about the security..

Thanks!

I do not know any host that offer VPS reselling, it ends up being too costly for both parties.

You're better off buying a cheap dedi from OVH or SoYouStart and use SolusVM.

Thanks a lot Pulseeey for your response. Yes i know OVH..I'm only afraid about the security..

I was thinking about something like Taking a dedicated server..With a cpanel license. But i need a tutorial or something to secure it well.

cPanel isn't a VPS control panel, that's for standard web hosting.

SolusVM is the control panel you want for selling VPS servers, both control panels have security features set by default so you shouldn't worry about that.

Yes you are right about that. But i like to offer it with cPanel or DirectAdmin on it, so customers doesn't need to be very know with the technical aspect to install wordpress..making backups..making a email account. one of myVPS was also with a cpanel..

My first VPS on Digital ocean was hacked because i had not a firewall on it haha..

I'm not sure what you're looking for.

Do you want to sell VPS's with cPanel already on them, or do you want to sell plain web hosting?

A Linux VPS with a decent complex root password is unlikely to be "hacked" unless you let them bruteforce your SSH protocol for months on end. You can install something as simple as CSF to block these types of attacks.

Pulseeey thanks again for your response!

Yes what i mean is VPS's with cPanel already on them. Its interesting what you saying good to know.Yeah i read about CSF too. I had also for my VPS just a strong password, made ssh only available on my own IP and activate a firewall on it. But to see managed VPS environment im looking to build the right infrastructure for it. If you know some info or have a good website about it, its appreciate it! Thanks!

A dedicated server and SolusVM, and some form of ticket/chat system (WHMCS is the optimal choice) should suffice for your needs.

A dedicated server is surely nice. However, that is different story if you can't afford a decent dedi, or if you can only afford very cheap dedi w/ Intel Atom or crappy hardware. (in my case, I would rather save money to buy a full set of pizza.)

I recommend RamNode, Linode, or DigitalOcean for VPS hosting. They tend to be fast, reliable, and in very acceptable price range. If you don't mind getting a dedi, check on WebHostingTalk, which they have offers everywhere.. (not trying to advertise. If this is not appropriate, I will remove it.)

Thanks a lot for your Response Simdol8080!

My goal is to offer VPS to my clients. So i think i need something like a dedicated server.

You're right about Ramnode and DigitalOcean. I have good experience with them!

I think i will figure out SolusVM and how to install it on a dedicated server...

If you guys know a link about the proces its appreciated well!
