But "he" should've been smarter and not have tried to pull this stunt in the first place. Sorry if I sound like "his" mother but I'm just saying.

You're right, and "he" is scared shitless and "he" wont be doing it again

Not necessarily.. When i was arrested at 17 i was still charged as an adult, and in his case it would probably be considered afelony theft by deception.

So "my friend"saw this way of making easy money, and "hes"dumb as fuck for doing it. Now "hes"am pretty sure "he"will be getting arrested or some shit.

So "my friend"was selling fake tickets (that didnt exist) to bonnaroo festival for $250, and he got money from like 8 people. he made somewhere around $1700. Well now a bunch of them are reporting himto the police and I am pretty sure at this point he isfucked.

Now would they take something serious if it was around 1500-1700 dollars. its not like it was 10k, he refunded as many people as he could and now hes down to $30 and cant refund anyone else.

Lets say hes also 17, hes getting charged as an adult too huh?

Well i dont know for sureif this counts as the same since ihave heard that in the United States if you haveitems that valueover $5000 you probably will be found guilty for the offense but you say it was around 1500-1700 so that wouldnt be as much of an issue but also if he has done it knowingly and willfully then he can also be found guilty, but again he did try to refund as much people as he could so i dont really know.. Hope some of this information helps!

If "your friend" murdered someone "he" can't say he "won't do it again"

Okay so I'm no lawyer here but let your "friend" know these few facts: (I'm using you in reference to your friend)
- Being under 18 allows you to be charged as a minor, but every case may be escalated to an adult trial if it passes through a certain hearing; when you are 18 or older, you do not have an option to be tried as a minor
- Don't say anything - nada, zip, zulch, zero - you have the right to remain silent (I assume that he's in the USA?), so don't say anything until a lawyer is there who can (maybe at best) help you
- Cops will say it's okay to tell them everything and that they're your friend. If you know you did something wrong, then don't say anything. Innocent people stay quiet too so they don't self-incriminate themselves by accident you know.
- Lastly, just remember, you did nothing wrong Wink
