Decided to take pictures at night, in the middle of no where away from my town, as the light pollution where I live is too bright. This is my first time doing star photography. Or any night stuff for that matter.
I think I barely captured the milky way in this photo. The light from the city I drove away from is producing light, causing an obstruction.
The resolution is lower on this image which is why it looks worse than the one above. I caught a shooting star.

I live in Texas. There are places here where you can see the stars clearly. Luckly, I live in a small town and there's places nearby with little light pollution. With the naked eye, there were many stars, but definitely not as much as the camera picked up lol. I miraculously captured the Milky Way by luck. But sadly my dumb town's light obstructed it. I also made sure that the moon wasn't out, and that the sky was clear.

Yeah that would be amazing. You can take a photo and not edit it and the photo will pick up all the stars. Hell, you could probably see the milky way with your naked eye.
My photos I had to slighty edit it for the extra stars that were hiding to pop out.
