Hello, I recently created a forum whose theme is a discussion forum. I would like, please, to get some suggestions, ideas to guide me on which choice to make my logo.

I have no idea how to do it.

Thank you

Well first of all a logo should represent the whole idea of your forum.
What I usally do is ask 3 questions and try my hardest to answer them

- Why ? : What emotion do you want your logo to give out the moment we see it?
From here you can already picture the shapes and colors you're going to use
ie: Happiness is usually round shapes and warm colors (such as yellow, red and orange)
Love is round with a bit of edginess and hot colors (Hot pink, Bright Red etc...)

- Who ? : Who are you making this logo for? if it's for business purposes, sport or just the sake of discussion etc...
A business logo is most likely navy blue and kinda square-ish

- How ? : This is where the magic happens, once you got the two questions figured out and still no concept yet, you can use what you have so far and doodle some shapes and colors until you find something you can start with.

ALSO, do not forget the importance of typography in logos, don't half-ass your work, take your time and look for the right font.

Hope I somehow helped, logos are tricky, you can start by looking up logos in Google image or Pinterest to get some inspiration

agreed with microzooms, you can use symbolism and type together to convey the meaning and purpose of your forum
