Monitor for sure. A tv would be silly. Also not efficient.

I use a 36in. samsung smart tv with game mode, almost not input lag/latency. Really comes down to the person I guess!

Monitor. Maybe it's smaller but it's better for gaming that TV.

TV absolutely, bigger screen, bigger resolution, still at 60 fps.

I would rather use a tv because it is bigger but atm I use a monitor because I don't care about what displays my images.

Monitor cause TV's get a 4 second delay for gaming but if you watching a movie or show from streaming on the PC then I'm fine with that. So to be honest it all depends on what you are using it for. But for gaming I recommend a monitor and not a TV.

While many computer monitors prioritize minimal lag times, manyTVs do not, and prioritize (laggy) video processing instead. Yes some TVs have a game mode setting on them but you still will get a delay. I noticed it one day when I was gaming. That is why monitors are the best for gaming.
