Actually, We don't "ruin" the game - If you suck you're going to suck forever, We actually boosted 6 people from Bronze all the way to diamond, So yeah - Overwatch is a dead game anyway.

I've been Silver, Gold, And high Plat. The main difference is Silver I've noticed is the team-play. You really have to be the leader on the team and constantly ask people to group up and push objectives than going for kills. But honestly for me to get out i had to one trick Roadhog and carry my team most games. The quick fix is grouping up with people who focus on team-play. But if you can't do that find a good character you can one trick with but won't be obtrusive if you don't switch. I carried myself to 2800sr playing only Lucio, but being aggressive with eliminations but also with health. Find that healthy balance of aggressiveness and team-work and you will be fine with any character.

I find the best way to rank up is to group up as a 3 man using the group finder feature. All 3 of you must be able to flex to at LEAST one hero in all 3 hero types.(Tank/Heals/DPS) You must also constantly check the enemy team and call out counters, and above all, YOU MUST HAVE A MIC. It irritates me profusely when people join comp without joining team chat, or having a mic. There is literally no excuse. My first mic cost me 67 cents with tax, as I bought used. I didn't know if it worked until after I bought it and tried it. 67 cents. You can get a decent brand new one for $15-20. So if you don't have a mic start there. If you have a squeeky voice, or sound like you are under 16 you will be mocked, but play your card rights, call enemies out, and you will sky rocket.

Maybe just post replay video or use some discord with coaching video.

Well feelsbadman, ive had the same with silver back when i played this game a bit, never was good at it though lo
