The game has a lot of promise, but I think it may end up like DayZ and will be unable to deliver on the hype. There is a little bit of gameplay, but it is hard to judge if it is good. It will run on the CryEngine so that's a plus I guess.

Thoughts?

Everything said in the interview sounded like buzzwords to build hype. MMO, BR, dynamic world, social hubs, reactive wildlife, huge firefights, good graphics, machine learning, etc. It sounds like a dream game and that's what a lot of these abandonware games do. They promise highly popular and innovative ideas knowing people will instantly latch to the game and be willing to throw any money at it. The problem is that most games, even ones made by AAA companies, struggle to do even one of these well, let alone all at once. Makes me think its very unlikely they'll be able to live up to the promises.
