Start reading, quite a lot, programming is something that you only learn in practice and reading a lot, here in the forum have some very cool tips.

Read books, especially practice a lot! I'd suggest visiting CodeAcademy, it explains stuff really good

In sa-mp, I understood programming without understanding any of the above. Then I made a script and never update it again.

Learn the basics, since there are several languages, some are faster than others, and others are poor. For me:

C++, C#, Squirrel, java, Lua (pov and slow), pawn,...

Although it is good to start by reading to get the basics, there are good places like CodeAcademy or Udemy where you can start from the very beginning. My advice will be to first ask yourself what you want to do with your programming skills, or what field is interesting for you, and then find out which languages are popular there. Then start. One of the fun things about learning is to apply that knowledge to things you find fun or interesting.

Good luck!

Download an app called SoloLearn and start by the basics, HTML. It should give you a hint on how things work. Once youve finished that you can go in two ways:
1. Learn C#, and then start working around Unity game engine and start working around Sockets.
3. Learn Java, and then JavaScript. Work around HTML and watch tutorials on drsigning and maybe recordings of comferences and videos of good programmers explaining how they began.

Once you did so, you can learn PHP and master networking. If I had this post right now, It wouldve taken me a month to create my website instead of three years of practicing.
SoloLearn is a community built of millions of developers that offer you help. They also have compilers for almost any language you want build in your phone, so go ahead, and I wish you the best of luck <3
