Turn off and leaving your cellphone

When you stay with friends and bring your cellphone, what you do? Turn of and leave it and talk with your friend directly or you keep busy with your phone?

Its better if you keep it man cause its your friends and really you need to be polite

I don't use my phone outside, first because of robbers and second because i don't like it so much.
My phone is a mp3 player that can make calls

it depends of the friends actually, i'm not particularly sared of robbers

its depends if they are playing
i use my phone not for a long time tho

I keep my phone on but I don't use it because why should I be using my phone if I'm hanging out with a friend? The only time I use the phone is to check for time or to show a friend a meme.

Don' t do that, even if you don't like the person.
It's not cool, be good as possible, so the world will be good with you too.

I just look, what is going on, when I'm getting spammed with messages. But I put it away, when I'm in a conversation. It's just rude to hang on it while being in a conversation.

When I am with friends I never use my phones much I only use my phone when we're waiting for food, on the bus or look something up and stuff.
