I think vk and fb is two different things, vk for video, fb for text and picture.

VK also for music, unfortunately, FB has very complicated and user-unfriendly interface

vk is for russians only :D never seen other people use it

VK respect more, comfortable, you can communicate with people.
Facebook is sad, but on phones it is generally terrible.
