It makes you feel like you are in the clouds, gets you really into the music. Anyone disagree?

Anyone who disagrees with your topic just doesn't have good taste in music IMO. I love synthwave that along with video game music is literally what I mainly listen to nowdays. Dan Mason and b o d y l i n e are my favorite artists.

Yeah man. I've been downloading and cataloguing every vapor album I find because it makes the best background noise. One of these days maybe I'll post it here, it's just kind of messy and needs an organizational overhaul lol

Oh yeah man, to throw some on at night and just lie in bed, it's pretty good. Calms me down for the day.

No, I fully agree, but (perhaps) for different reasons.

The reason these somewhat unknown musical genres are gaining a lot of exposure is because they are not hectic and very detached from what used to be our normality. With COVID our life has taken a much more balanced rhythm and to the frenzy of electronic music (for example, but I could do others but I trust in your creativity) we have replaced quieter melodies.

I am particularly happy that lofi music is no longer a niche, I am pleased to discuss it with someone and find that he/sheknows something too :]

I personally prefer classical music from composers like Mozart, Handel, and Beethoven, but I think it's because they stir deeper feelings rather than encourage mindless floating.

Not that I am saying vaporwave is bad or anything, just not my cup of tea so to say.

Just got into synthwave myself. Lovin it so far. New retro wave on YouTube is where I've been listening.
