I have really fond memories of this map. I decided to play it again today and had the luckiest run that I've ever had, PPSh and DG-2 by round 5! I was able to get The Reaper early and the rest was smooth sailing until I decided to be an idiot and forgot that the DG-3 JZ was total ass if you weren't careful. I ended up getting to round 43, my highest (but I know it's definitely not that impressive compared to many others) I've ever gotten, only dying to my own shot on the ground which removed my Juggernog :noh:

What are your guys' most memorable moments on this map?

I never played WaW that much. I was stuck at MW and MW2. I played the map on WaW, but sadly I wasn't into zombies at this time.
I've got the map on Black Ops 3 and it's probably one of the most fun maps. Especially because it's small.

I love The Giant as much as I love Der Riese, but for different reasons. I love the barebones minimum standard of the old map, but I don't love how fast you can get double-swatted or how the DG-3 JZ irradiates you with 115, making Jugg useless. I love the new map for its variety of perks, faithfulness to the original, and fixes to any map annoyances from the previous iteration. Though the things I don't like about the new map (and perhaps BO3 Zombies in general) is the underwhelming Wunderwaffe and Ray Gun.

That's true. The Wunderwaffe is really bad in this one. I've also seen videos that it's glitching sometimes which results in a death.
I was using the ray gun in every cod game so far, but they really fucked it up this time. It doesn't feel as strong as it was before.

You should try Blast Furnace or Dead Wire. It does a really good job in higher rounds, when you run around with them and kill them all at once. Though, I prefer Blast Furnace over Dead Wire, because it doesn't need as much ammo as Dead Wire.

I once purchased WAW along with aoki because of the zombie maps but never really played it lol

I'm absolutely into Dead Wire and Blast Furnace. I feel like all the PaP upgrade modules are actually pretty strong, and definitely see the usefulness of something like Turned at higher rounds or Thunder Wall if you absolutely need to keep your distance.

The difference in the Ray Gun in BO3 as compared to the previous versions is just the simple fact that the health to damage ratio in this game is different. It scales a lot faster than it did in previous games due to all of the new OP shit they put in the game - an attempt to make it more interesting while in the long term nerfing the mighty.

Do you know what Fireworks actually does? I've used it so many times but still didn't get the sense of it.
Have you played Der Eisendrache btw? I really like what they did with the PaP camos.

Fireworks creates a firework at a zombie that it procs, creates a gun (the same gun you're using with this module) at that zombie and basically starts killing other zombies. It lasts for 3 seconds (I think) and kills any zombie in its AoE.

Der Eisendrache was awesome! I loved doing the easter egg, I really like where they're going with the story. The map itself is the right amount of simple and complex, so it's great for everyone.

The Giant is a very great map, and always has been on WaW, BO1, and BO3.
I just wish they would stop remaking the same map over and over, it's lived it's legacy so let it rest and maybe remake some of the other great maps.
