Honestly can't go wrong with dragon ball z but watch the Kai version as it has alot of filler cut out

You can start with SNK or One Punch Man, those two are pretty funny and don't have like 800 episode

One Punch Man, FMA: Brotherhood, Cowboy Bebop, all great starting anime imo.
