It taught me to appreciate my health and my family's health too. It also made me realize how ungrateful I was and how much I complained about having free time to be outside

It has taught me that there's a large section of the population in america and other western countries, but especially America, that don't live in the same reality as other folks. It's very sad.

The only thing I can think of is that I should value time more I suppose .

I considered myself a pretty decent cook before, but being home all the time has given me an opportunity to really dig in to learning more about food. I've tried some really cool recipes and new techniques that will only make me a better cook in the years to come.

It made me realise I couldn't trust the UK government (or any government). I have a Spanish/Brazilian background, so was used to not trusting the corrupt governments in Latin countries, but I had always thought "The UK is different."

I don't trust the official BBC line, I absolutely reject the "alternative media" nonsense. My gut feeling is the only thing I feel I can go off these days, and that is: it's a power-grab of some sort. Before, people were criminalised if we did something bad, e.g. robbed a bank, murder, etc - we weren't punished for "not doing" something (except taxes, but I've yet to meet anyone who thinks highly of those). Now, we can be criminalised for not dressing a certain way (masks), not keeping away from people, for doing normal things like hanging out with friends.
