What do you think about metaverse

im still confused how you can do work in vr.

The metaverse will not work, it's like virtual reality, after a while it's unpleasant

I just dont see any practical utility of it. Sure its cool and sure it might provide some people utility to them but how exactly does this advance society as a whole? How does this link us together? Covid already destroyed our relations with each other I dont want this to bring us further apart

Personally, I like this direction, as it uses VR to interact, much like games such as VR chat or anything of that nature. It's nice to be able to actually move around in a virtual universe with friends online that you'd normally wouldn't be able to get together with in person. Plus, it might change some stigmas that Facebook has in general. the older crowd might not be fond of this move though, it requires learning and change.

I think it was useless to rename it like that.

they really think that renaming facebook will erase all the data leaking they're responsible for.

It seems silly to me that people spend millions of dollars on a few pixels.

imo i don't think it will be successfulcus of mark's fame. he steals ideas and doesn't cares about our priavacy.
