What is the communities incentive to posts leaks?

I wanna make this very clear, I'm not attempting to vilify the community with this question. Just curious, what are peoples motives for leaking addons / server files? Especially those who don't put back doors into the scripts, why release them for free? Cause quite honestly, I understand when someone puts backdoors into an addon and then releases it in an attempt to get server files / addons. But what drives the people that leak addons that have no strings attached, what is your reasons forleaking addons?

Usually for credits, as you can use it for anything on this website (to unlock stuff etc)

The reason why I decided to post leaks for was a bit to earn credits, of course, but mostly to give back to the community, because it has given me a chance to actually have some quality addons for my server, and that something I want others to experience aswell.
