What language would you use to build a new website today?

I just started building a new site. I'm using ASP.Net Core and serving static pages with Nginx.

I mean obviously I would use English or i18n integration for the display language.
Then for the Code Language, maybe Node.Js or Go, never worked with ASP.Net Core so can't differente.

Well if there's an option i would always use my mother language,but if there isn't that option,i would pick english :/

For a modern lenguage use Laravel, it uses PHP and modern libraries to make your work look professional.
