What programs best to design my YouTube icon?

I have meddled somewhat in Adobe illustrator and Photoshop but no where near enough to fully creat something presentable, should I start off in illustrator?

illustrator is probably your best bet if you're looking to make vectors, search up some tutorials on youtube. all adobe programs basically run the same just different features

Illustrator would be a good choice. All adobe programs are actually pretty amazing

Adobe stuff for sure, Illustrator and/or Photoshop would make the job

What I love to do is I first draw and test logos by hand, then move them to computer for some fixing and twisting on photoshop and once I'm happy with the logo I will vectorize it in Illustrator
