What's the best way to secure a Node JS implementation?

I'm running a NodeJS setup on my PC and it involves file uploads.

Files, as we know, may contain viruses and malware, and this is something that I'd rather avoid when receiving raw client files.

What's the best way to secure a Node JS implementation?

Confirm the inputs and outputs.
Set the boundary. So you save time.
If you intend to walk on the web, limit the allowed entries. These transactions keep you a little safe.
