What's the purpose of the 'Prime' upgrade?

I'm looking at the upgrades, primarily Prime and Supreme.

Prime says that I'd get 3 content unlocks a day, and I would bypass unlock requirements, but that I can't unlock without credits.

This sounds contradictory. I can bypass unlocks, but I need credits? How does that work? So if I want to download a file, do I need to post and earn the credits for it or not?

The upgrade page could do with being made a tad clearer in this respect Smile

Lemme help ya out a bit.

Prime is the lowest upgrade you can get.
You basically gain access to new parts of the forum and more features.

You can unlock more stuff per day,but still via credit. On supreme, there is even a higher unlock limit, and what's more, with no credit price.

Basically, the reason for prime still using credits is because a lot of members get credits through posting recourses and other members unlocking them(the get the payment of 8 credits per unlock). More people have upgraded to prime than supreme. It would be overwhelming to put that on the Prime for that price, so supreme has it.

How,how you earn the credits,is through posting HQ stuff and making meaningful threads. Also, like mentioned above, you can upload leaks and resources ,lock them and cash in whenever someone pays the credits.

Hope this helped.

Usually to unlock content, you need requirements like having enough online time, minimum post count etc.
Upgrading to prime removes that requirement, but you'll still have to pay with credits to unlock.
