We're all told lies while growing up, some to protect us and some just because it's the tradition or a rumor that has spread for long enough that everyone believes it. What would be the biggest lies you were told while growing up for you?

For me it would probably be being told that santa exists or that we evolved from monkeys.

Biggest lie of all would be Santa, everyday I would wake up and pray, then one day my uncle came to me in the closet and said "Santa isn't real now bend over"
When I die, I want to go in my sleep just like my Grandpa did. Not screaming like all the people on his plane.

Probably the fact that no one told me that I was pronouncing "Children" wrong for 6 years, nothing really too extreme (yet).

I wasn't told many lies really, my parents believed that telling me the truth was far better than stupid stores, and because of it, I matured at a much younger age... The downside is that I didn't fit in with people my age and only older people

The only real thing my parents legit believed in is that drinking coffee is bad because if you have too much, all the little fine bits of sediment will collect inside you and eventually cause some sort of a blockage.
Bruh, what happens when you eat food? lmao
That some true dumb shit
