I have used both Blender and C4D. First was Blender because it was free then I got a chance to use C4D and never looked back.

Blender for free but if u got money u can buy cinema 4d, i see alot of people use it

Blenderrr but you can use multiples softwares for make 3D, you can use Houdini for particules, Marvelous Designer for clothes etc...
