When was Overwatch at it's peek in quality

I believe OW was at it's peak when they released Ana, every hero after Ana has only made the game deteriorate, for me atleast.

First season was the best obviously, then the game has slowly been plagued by cheaters and trolls

I remember when I first booted the beta after waiting for 20 minutes after the open date because the servers sucked, and I remember talking with people in the global chat about how exciting it was.
I think I stopped playing around season 4 of comp. and I just remember it was slowly declining. Just recently I started playing again and personally I enjoy it very much, but I can't play for too long or else I get bored.
