Where to go to learn advanced engineering concepts

So for some background, I'm a senior engineer at a startup. Whenever you look on the web there are a million and one tutorials, introductions, and courses for learning how to code. But when you are at the senior engineering level, I feel like there are very few resources to learn about advancedconcepts, patterns, and just overall soak up wisdom.

For example, I've used NodeJS for like 5 years now. Unfortunately, I seem to learn everything the hard way. I want to know how these technologies are leveraged at the highest level, not just ExpressJS tutorials.

The closest I've seen are like developer talks, but they're very long winded. Does anyone have any resources for such information?

Personally, I've always been the person to just get my hands dirty and learn the hard way, seems like you've done this too. Collaborate with your colleagues they may be able to teach you a few things and vice versa.
