I know that I've already asked this in the Discord Chat and had Aisaka help me out a bit with the parts; but I'll ask here for those that don't check Discord and might know stuff about computers.

So, I'm thinking about making a whitebox server for my gaming community. It will constantly be running:
  • 1x Garry's Mod Terrortown Server
  • 1x Garry's Mod DarkRP Server
  • 1x Garry's Mod Sandbox Server
  • 1x Rust Server
  • 2-4x Virtualized Machines for the Servers
  • 3x Webserver
My home internet will be 1Gbps Down / 50Mbps Up. What I'm trying to figure out is if that's a good pricing for what I'm running and for a server build at all, as well as if you guys know where I could get the parts for cheaper and/or equivalents for cheaper.

My HostOS will be Windows Server 2016, and I'll be running Ubuntu VMs inside for the gameservers. The HostOS will be Windows since it is easier for me to configure TCAdmin to run the gameservers and place the files for them inside of the VM Space. Or if someone knows how to help me setup TCadmin for Ubuntu based systems, let me know and it would be a godsend.

If i remember correctly, you need a Z mobo (Correct me if i am worng) to overclock the cpu, if you dont plan on Overclocking then the Just go with a normal I7.
Maybe you should consider the new i9 series, or the Threadripper for the cores? + Quad Channel support.

For your purposes, a perfectly balanced build, you do not need anything else.

Pardon me if you've already considered it, but since your budget is so nice, you might want to consider a case with the ability to add redundant power supplies. Also, have you considered a UPS power supply to not only protect the server but also to make sure it stays up in a power fluctuation or other event?
