Who here is hyped for S&box?

Honestly, I'm glad Gmod is getting a restart, brand new graphics and engine. Nice and fresh

I think S&box is going to be nice , but there is a very big problem with this... what we will do with all the addons of the workshop of gmod?, creators will have to redo all the addons in another new engine , probably this will cause that S&box wouldn't be as fun as gmod during some years. Anyways, when S&box will be 100% completed , it will be a very nice game.

s&box is gonna be amazing, have you even seen the videos that came out regarding some player made gamemodes?

I was actually just reading up on this the other night, I'm excited for it!

S&box is going to be great and all, and I'm hyped! But I'm a bit worried about the chance that a sizable portion of the Gmod community won't switch to S&box just since there won't be as much content at the beginning. Hence causing less content to be made for it, and causing less people to have a reason to swap over. Not to be a dippy downer, but you know. I'm sure that S&box will be good tho! :kekdog:

Hell yeah, I'm excited. As someone who plays lots of Star Wars RP, I would love to see GMOD run on better code and have a much better engine. The possibilities aren't probably imaginable, my only worries are the amount of time it will take for the community to pump out some nice playermodels and other addons for Star Wars RP.

I totally agree with what you're saying, but eventually there will be tons of content on it and once there is the bare minimum and that minimum is so much more advanced than what we've got now, well, then it's game over for Garry's Mod (at least for the game modes that content best applies to).

Judging by your profile pic, you play some form of StarWarsRP. Could you imagine how much better the events can be and probably without so much less lag and frame drop. What video are you talking about tho? Is it possible you could send me a link or post it in a reply?

bet they're going to do stupid shit like phone number verification to join popular servers.

To be honest, I don't expect anything strong from S&BOX, but maybe something good will come out.
