Why Amazon helps competition?

Amazon Web Services (AWS) [CLICK] lets Netflix use thier cloud. Isn't that stupid? Why would they help them while thier Amazon Prime Video.
Is providing service for Netflix more profitable than trying to catch up to Netflix? That stupid. If Amazon would cut Netflix wires im sure that it would be out of the game. What do you think?

Probably due to anti-monopoly regulations. Netflix are a paying customer in the eyes of Amazon. If they can't use AWS, they'd just go elsewhere and bring in much less money for Amazon.

Wal-Mart is trying to compete with amazon that's why they came out will that new pick up service

Because there's two things they can do, try to kill the competition or do their best to control it. They can't reasonably kill Netflix so instead they host for Netflix instead of letting competition host for them.

I think it`s the Anti-monopoly rules, since there`s no reason for that

Why not they will have contracts or so eventually and you don't know.
