Why do you need 15 posts to see hidden content?!?!? ._.

It's used to filter out high quality users from leeches / spammers.

most likley to keep spammers and leechers of the site, annoying but effective i guess

speaking of which... making threads about the post limit is not allowed.

not sure if i would go that far - but i can see why they would go with this

Yeah it's to deter people from making tools to scrape the forums for tools etc, easier to manage spammers etc.
