Okay this is my biggest pet peeve....The government wants to keep marijuana illegal expect in the states where it's already passed, instead they tax the unholy crap out of it! They say that Marijuana is a drug by definition a "drug" is man made and/or chemically changed artificially. Marijuana is a natural growing plant that is given to us by God. In the bible God says "I give to you all seed bearing plants" now you tell me, is it not a seed bearing plant? Of course it is! Alcohol kills millions of people each year due to the stupidity of the consumers due to being under the influence of the drug. Marijuana has NEVER killed anyone in the course of history. These are the side effects of weed" Happy, Hungry, and sleepy. Alcohol will make you do some pretty dumb stuff. Enough of my rant what are all of your opinions?

Alcohol is also like a drug. It changes you and also should be banned. I agree.

I know an alcoholic and he gets mean when he drinks and thats why

I'd smoke marijuana instead of drinking alcohol.

I don't see why Alcohol should be banned.
You guys should read some history - We don't need to repeat the same mistakes.

But still, cannabis should be decriminalized everywhere IMO.
Making it legal would decrease the amount of illegal drug business which at this moment is huge.
This list over here will only get bigger; http://norml.org/aboutmarijuana/item/sta...iminalized

I haven't seen any record of an overdose by cannabis. Could you please link me your source?
I don't really believe you. Smile

In simple terms, it's been known to have over 400 purposes including making clothes and helping with illnesses.
Why is it banned you ask but alcohol isn't? The answer is simple.
If they allowed people to grow it and smoke it less people would die, they like to see people die so they can keep using their tactics for scare.
Not to mention with it banned they make a shit ton more on medicine since half the shit you pay for in terms of medicine could be replaced with cannabis.
They don't want it legal otherwise their income would drop in the long run and they wouldn't be able to see people die to keep them rich.

It would be tricky for them to tax it, so they choose to make it illegal.

I think it should remain, I prefer not to be walking around my town and always have a pungent sickly aroma around all the time. It's also believed that the smoke from it has effects on those who inhale, intentionally or not so it's not exactly family friendly. (Which are those groups of adults and kids you see walking around, they exist too).

Made no sense.  :rly:

If Cannabis would be legal it wouldn't mean that everyone would smoke it.
Does everyone drink alcohol because it's legal? Nope.

Also hemp (Clothes, Decoration etc.) is legal in some states of US (Clothes). Also in Europe etc. etc.

If Cannabis would be legal in where you live - Why would the health care w/e give marijuana instead of Xanor to people?
The amount of Cannabis "users" would remain about the same even if it would be legal in where you live.

People usually start "doing drugs" because they're exciting and illegal. I don't like alcohol, but it's more tempting to try Opiates and Substances just because they're illegal to fuck with.
If cannabis would be legal just as alcohol - Well I think you got my point.

This is the main reason.
