its popular because its really easy gamemode to make lol and people like to make custom addons for darkrp?

It's easy to make and fun to play with just good old player interaction.

It's friendly-welcome, you don't need to get complicated with things and mostly you just "act" not doing an hard roleplay all the time. and it's the oldest roleplay gamemode I think.

The reason why darkrp is so popular is because it's kinda *real life*but it's really not you can easly get mad if someone trolls you and want to report to the admin without evidence once you have the evidence the admins leave you alone or if you dont well they blame you and think it's your fould.

Everyone loves to play roleplaying at its best with Garry's Mod. So many things to do inside Gmod.
