Why was Ghost hated?

Why did everyone hate ghosts when it came out. What was so bad about it? I didn't really play it so I want to know.

Loved the Extinction, massive killing aliens and chilling. I only like the MP for the Infected

ghost was hated because nobody just didnt like it..........

The only thing I liked about ghosts was extinction. Graphics were too hard for me to see through especially with me owning one of those old TV's.

Only thing that brought the game down in my opinion where some of the maps where too big if they where smaller it had the potential to be a good game

Its graphics were too gritty and mainly because the cod community hated it = bandwagon.
