I know right, not like you can walk in to a pawn shop with a london marathon medal and your face all over the news for stealing it and sell it lol, maybe his brain was to little to think of that.

Some people are desperate enough for a petty amount of recognition that they have no problem stealing it from someone else. My question is how this person was able to steal the number. Did they not register numbers to racers before it started? What's the point in the numbers if not?

To me as a runner, I would be heartbroken and I would really want to break that person in half if that happened to me. I really do feel bad for the runner. :(

Imagine how terrible that would be. Months or years of training, hours of running your best, and some douche ruins it.
