Will COD ever return to its roots of its run n gun days?

i feel like it won't :( futuristic stuff has taken over the game and plus theres a new age of gamers out there that never experienced the old cod

I personally think they started to, from Advanced Warfares garbage game. Just dont think its gonna be full back to the old game

I wish it was like CoD4 Modern Warfare again. That game was probably the best one. I don't think it will ever return to what it was unfortunately.
