Vac is good but there is not enough rights for companies like valve etc to scan your computer enough to detect the cheats so cheaters will always find a way around it will be like this untill they get more rights with their anti-cheats software i think hopefully one day cheating will stop

VAC is no longer problem if you use serious menus and play and try to keep it legit more of a problem is overwatch which also can be manipulated using high price skins so the low level overwatchers think: no way he is cheating with this inventory, he got pricy skins so he is dedicated so he must be good so the verdict will be highly manipulated as majority of overwatchers are gold 2 players hence resulting in not guilty of cheating.

I don't think they're gonna keep updating it. It's really easy to bypass VAC

VAC is still broken as hell. The problem (for Valve) is that it's not a kernel anticheat, which makes it great for people to write their own code and inject it (or just run their code in the kernel for complete overkill purposes).

My guess is adapting it to kernel-level would take too long, so Valve just didn't bother. That's why it's so bad.
