Windows 10 is not free, you have to purchase it. There was a campaign run by Microsoft that gave existing Windows 7/ Windows 8.1 users free upgrade to Windows 10, but it ended on July 29, 2016. However, Microsoft Windows activation servers, for some reason, are still accepting Windows 8 product keys as valid keys for Windows 10 activation. Hence, the Windows 8 keys given in this thread can actually activate Windows 10 post-installation. These keys, however, won't work during initial installation.

This thread is a giveaway of such Windows 8 Pro keys which, as of writing of this post, can be used to activate Windows 10 Pro.
