Inspired by the thread about Rick and Morty I wanted to ask you guys if you have seen The Midnight Gospel? It's on Netflix. I'm a huge Rick and Morty fan and this series gives me the same vibes. There didn't seem to be a thread about it so I'm creating this one.
Without spoiling I'll say that the first episode is really weird and absurd, and it's difficult to keep track of what is going on. It took me about half of the first episode to stop wondering what on earth I'm watching and focusing on the story. In fact there are at least two parallel stories in each episode which makes it really interesting to watch as both stories kind of interweave with each other and are presented at the same time!
Definitively give this series a try if you have nothing else to watch! And if you've already seen it, please share your thoughts!
TMG is not your regular series. It's deep and philosofical and as much as I love the visual, what really matters is the audio. As you can see, most of the times the story and the audio doesn't match. Anyways, it's a dope mindfuck
I have so far only seen the first episode. I had a hard time following the dialogue, but loved the visuals. But it seems a bit weird to me, the disconnect with the dialogue has almost discouraged me from continuing.
